PUNJAB FARMERS - CENTRE GOVT TALKS FAILED

Rahil Nora Chopra : The talks between the Farmers of Punjab and central government ended after seven hour long negotiation with no results. Food secretary Sudhanshu Pandey invited leaders of 30 farmers body including constituents of All India Kisan Sangaresh coordination committee for talks with the two Ministers Naresh Singh Tomar and Piyush Goel. The farmer leaders demanded an out right repeal of the three laws and roll back of reforms, a legislation guaranteeing minimum support prices, the resumption of goods train and services in Punjab and pending electricity bill 2020 be sent to a select committee along with the demand of releasing intellectual arrested by the government and the court cases against the farmers should be withdrawn. But according to farmers the government has not given us the concrete assurance.
